Copyright: Ministry of Justice of Czechia The Act on Courts and Judges, adopted in summer 2021 and applicable as of 2022, establishes uniform rules for the selection of judges and judicial officials. Furthermore, it increases efficiency and transparency of the judiciary by including clearer rules on secondary activities of judges. This reform responds to the demands that the public, representatives of the judiciary and international organisations have expressed in recent years.
