Beltinci green business-industrial zone - Providing innovative ecosystems of economic and business infrastructure

The aim of the project was to stimulate economic activity in an otherwise demographically endangered area. Through the infrastructural development of the business-industrial zone, the Municipality of Beltinci has improved its accessibility and the conditions for the operation of businesses.

As part of the project, the municipality equipped six hectares of new operational land. It set up new roads with pedestrian areas, drainage and sanitation. In order to ensure an environmentally friendly industrial park, they have installed solar lights of public lighting, arranged permeability areas for parking and car-sharing, and set up chargers for electric vehicles and parking stands.

The Recovery and Resilience Facility provided funding of EUR 1 million, while the total value of the investment was EUR 1.3 million. 

The project was carried out between April 2022 and December 2023.
