AttractInvestBG: Industrial Zone Zagore - Elenino

With close to EUR 99 million, the Recovery and Resilience Facility supports a grant scheme for the provision of infrastructure in industrial parks.

BGN 13.8 million from the Recovery and Resilience Plan will support the construction of a functioning industrial zone "Zagore - Elenino" and stimulate the region by providing suitable conditions for carrying out active economic activity and creating favorable conditions for new jobs.

For this purpose, the following activities will be implemented:
• Reconstruction of the existing supply infrastructure, resulting in the improvement of the transport and operational qualities of the road section for communication service of the "Zagore - Elenino" industrial zone. The repair activities of the road section with a total length of 6,410 m include the implementation of construction and installation works on an existing road route - reconstruction of a local class road - SZR 1190.
• Construction of a new technical infrastructure - water supply network.
• Construction of a water pipeline with a total length of 6392 m.
• Construction of a sewer network with a total length of 6387 m.
• Construction of new completed technical infrastructure - in accordance with the needs of the developed industrial zone, in the current PII the construction of a parking lot is also foreseen
• Construction of ecological internal infrastructure - installation of charging stations for electric cars with solar batteries.

The rehabilitation and construction of the input, output and environmental infrastructure fully complies with the detailed pre-investment study (PPS) developed for the needs of the current FDI.

The project is expected to be completed by 30 June 2026.
