The Housing Fund of the Republic of Slovenia purchased 35 newly constructed apartments in Ravne na Koroškem, an addition to the public rental stock.

The Vrata Javornika facility is energy efficient and will provide comfortable living at low operating costs. The building has 35 public rental apartments with associated parking spaces. Storerooms are provided in the basement of the building. The parking lot of the blocks are greened with an "urban forest" of tall native trees - maples, which derive from the area's name (Javornik). Pedestrian paths are separated from the traffic surfaces by height and material and equipped with urban facilities (benches, baskets, lighting). Covered outdoor bike racks are also provided.

The Recovery and Resilience Facility provided funding of EUR 1.8 million, while the total value of the investment is EUR 3.8 million.

The apartments were inaugurated in May 2024.
