Affordable Housing Act

According to the latest data, 154 000 people in the Czech Republic are living in housing insecurity, a third of whom are children. Housing insecurity has serious impacts on physical and mental health as well as family life. 

The societal consequences and costs to the state are also significant. The Housing Support Act will provide a systemic solution. It will offer preventive tools to address housing problems to over a hundred thousand people each year. 

In the long term, it will generate savings for the state budget by reducing costs associated with housing insecurity.
