Adoption scale up of the National Digital Identity platforms (SPID, CIE) and the national registry (ANPR)

ANPR is the National Register of citizens’ residence and electoral information, and contains the data of all resident citizens, both Italians and foreigners, and AIRE (Italians living abroad). It is the centralized database that simplifies registry services and is continuously updated by more than 7900 Italian municipalities.

From the authenticated area of the ANPR web portal citizens can: check personal status and apply for self-certifications; request registry and electoral certificates; request to changes personal incorrect data; send a change of residence request in the national territory; request the registry registration (service available for EU citizens moving from another EU country); Check a digital domicile to receive legally valid communications from the Italian Public Administration
