Adoption scale up of the National Digital Identity platforms (SPID, CIE) and the national registry (ANPR)

INAD is the National Index of Digital Domiciles of Individuals, Professionals and Other Private Law Entities not required to be registered in professional or business registers, lists or registries.

The project aims to enable citizens to elect a digital domicile (a certified e-mail address) to receive all official communications from the Italian public administration with legal value, such as tax refunds and tax deductions, assessments, administrative penalty reports, and so on, that are sent directly to the mailbox indicated by the citizen in real time, without delays or problems related to non-delivery, with significant savings related to less paper use and zero costs of sending through postal services.
