Active labour market policies and vocational training

 The goal is to introduce a comprehensive reform of active policies and vocational training, by improving employment services and providing personalized labour market activation plans. In concrete terms, a National Programme for the Guaranteed Employability of Workers (GOL) has been introduced to support retraining pathways for the insertion and reintegration of workers in transition, the unemployed and vulnerable groups into the labour market. The legislation necessary to establish the program has been adopted at national and regional level between 2021 and 2022, and the programme is now reaching the beneficiaries. To date, more than 300,000 people have benefitted from the programme. The final objective is to reach at least 3 million people, of which 75% are part of vulnerable groups, by the end of December 2025. The Recovery and Resilience Facility finances the programme with EUR 4.4 billion.
