360 accessibility - Palmela

This investment aims to improve accessibility for people with reduced mobility in public spaces, public buildings and homes.

This is a nationwide investment with one example in Palmela.

The Municipal Library of Palmela received €12,988 in RRP funding to promote the autonomy of people with limited mobility, including visual impairment.

This was achieved with the installation of an automatic sliding door and the application of a tactile route and orientation signage in Braille, in all areas of the equipment available to the public.
