21st century vocational training institution development programme at Nyíregyháza Vocational Training Centre

The programme “21st Century Vocational Training Institutions Development Programme”supports the creation of an attractive learning environment in the institutions of Vocational Training Centres with a budget of about EUR 243 million.

The project involves the renovation and modernisation of the existing part of the school building, as well as the classrooms and the gym. The area of the institution to be upgraded is 8 625 m2. 

The upgrading includes modernisation of the mechanical system, use of renewable energy sources, thermal insulation of external boundary structures, partial and complete replacement of floor structures, replacement of internal windows and doors, and construction of a new piping network from the heat centre. 

As part of the investment, a 4-storey reinforced concrete monolithic elevator shaft will be built in the school part of the building, next to the staircase next to the gym.

The project receives is supported under the RRF by EUR 9.23 million.

The public procurement procedure for the project is ongoing.
