100%-Sustainable Islands

The aim of this strategy is to accelerate change towards an energy model based on efficiency, the use of renewables and sustainable mobility, complemented by the introduction of new technologies such as storage and renewable hydrogen. 

• The Investment Plan for the Energy Transition of the Balearic Islands is a plan to accelerate and deepen the energy transition in the Balearic Islands, with a budget of 233 million euros. 
• The Sustainable Energy Strategy in the Canary Islands foresees the mobilisation of 467 million euros, which will be dedicated to actions in different priority areas to move towards a fair energy transition.
