Are you an Apache Tomcat User?

We are calling out to Apache Tomcat developers to attend the second EU-FOSSA Hackathon in Brussels, on the weekend of 4/5 of May 2019. The Hackathon will bring together Apache Tomcat Core Team members and advanced users from across Europe and around the world.

The next  EU-FOSSA hackathon will focus on Apache Tomcat, one of the open source software included in thebug bounty program for being widely used at the European Institutions. The plan is to enhance existing features of Apache Tomcat, and architect/create new ones.  On this Apache Wiki page, you can see suggestions for work planned for the event, and you are welcome to add your own ideas to this evolving list.

If you feel qualified to do this work and wish to contribute, you are invited to fill out the pre-registration form, which will indicate your initial expression of interest. Participants will be provided travel, food and accommodation for the event, if needed. The Hackathon organisation team will review your application and we will get back to you very soon.

The first hackathon worked with Symfony and the API Platform communities, and proved to be a roaring success

Do not miss this rare opportunity to meet key Apache Tomcat committers, like-minded colleagues and staff from the European institutions, and shape the future of Apache Tomcat. Register now.
