The European Commission acknowledges the announcement that the European Nuclear Safety Regulators Group (ENSREG) has approved and published today the report from its peer review of the Belarus national action plan. This is an important step, carried out as part of the EU nuclear risk and safety assessments (stress tests) process. The Commission thanks ENSREG experts for the excellent work done in conditions made more difficult because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Commission will follow up with Belarus on the implementation of the remaining recommendations.
