Commission Action Plan outlines initiatives for a modern and clean economy

At the One Planet Summit in Paris on 12 December 2017, marking the second anniversary of the Paris Agreement, the European Commission presented ten initiatives in a new Action Plan for the Planet to show how the EU is working to create a modern economy and a fair society, powered by sustainable energy. These initiatives include:  

• Investing in Clean Industrial Technologies
• The Clean Energy for Islands Initiative
• The EU Rulebook for Investment in Energy Performance of Buildings
•  The Smart Finance for Smart Buildings Investment Facility
• Structural Support Action for Coal and Carbon Intensive Regions
