Information sessions for groups

Discover the work of the European Commission through information sessions for groups. 

Sessions are given in 24 official EU languages, upon availability. 

Admission is free of charge.

Choose a session and book your visit

Groups can apply for two different types of information sessions led by EU staff members.  

  • General presentation

    A 60-minute general presentation gives your group an overview of the Commission’s work.

    It is open to any interested groups, starting from secondary school level.

  • Tailored - general and policy presentation

    Groups with a specific interest can combine the 60-minute general presentation with a 60-minute specific policy presentation:  

    • University students - general presentation, plus one policy presentation
    • Public and private sector professionals, journalists, academics, NGOs, social partners - general presentation, plus up to two policy presentations

Booking timeline

  1. Booking

    Please request your visit no earlier than 5 months, and no later than 10 weeks, in advance

  2. Confirmation

    You will receive a reply within two weeks

  3. Cancellation

    If needed, please cancel at least two weeks in advance

    The closest stop for public transport is 'Schuman' and can be reached by metro, bus and train. 

Accessibility

The Visitors’ Centre is accessible to people with reduced mobility. Wheelchairs are available.

Security check

Please bring a valid national ID or passport to enter and be aware that all visitors go through a security check similar to airports.
