Terminology round-table consultation (follow-up of the implementation of last year’s conclusions)

This interinstitutional TEW is a follow-up  of  the successful  2019 TEW entitled “Consultation with terminology experts on the Hungarian terminology strategy in preparation”.  The  workshop  is  intended  to take  stock of the  progress  achieved  and  to explore  the  way-ahead, with  a  view  to  rolling-out  the  terminology  pilot  project  launched  by the  Hungarian Language Department at DGT in  co-operation with 2 Hungarian universities and to discussing further modalities of co-operation between the various actors. 
The workshop’s inter-institutional  dimension  is  ensured  by  the  participation  of  Ms  Orsolya  Kardos (Translation Service of the Council of the EU) and Ms Judit Pálfi (Directorate-General for Translation of the European Parliament)
The TEW aims (among other things) to:  

• present the new online forum for information exchange on EurTerm, which was created as a direct result of the previous TEW to enable further exchange and collaboration 
• explore what ways there are for establishing a central Hungarian Terminology Portal
