Public acceptance of projects of common interest: How to engage with your local communities

Event on nublic acceptance of projects of common interest, and how to engage with your local communities

Energy infrastructure article

This webinar aims to share good practice examples and provide a “step-by-step approach” to how to organise awareness raising activities and further improve public acceptance for EU projects of common interest (PCIs).

On behalf of Directorate-General for Energy, INTRASOFT International will showcase good practice examples from a recent communication campaign carried out in Italy and answer questions from the participants.

Projects of Common Interest (PCIs) are major infrastructure projects that modernise and link energy networks across Europe. Each PCI helps at least two countries work together to develop state-of-the-art energy grids that are better interconnected by land or sea with new infrastructure such as overhead lines, underground and undersea cables.
