The 2024 edition of the traditional European Citizens' Initiative (ECI) Day, organised by the European Economic and Social Committee and its partners, will be set in the new framework of the first Civil Society Week (4-7 March) entitled Rise Up for Democracy!. Věra Jourová, Vice-President of the European Commission for Values and Transparency will take part in the opening session of the Civil Society Week, on Monday 4 March at 2 p.m.

The ECI Day will include panel discussion and practical "How-to" workshops – on navigating ECI support infrastructures and on tips from ECI organisers on how to look for partners.
