EU Energy Day on sectoral integration and the clean energy transition

The 7th EU Energy Day takes place in Abu Dhabi, as part of the EU side events programme at the World Future Energy Summit 2019.

It will address the concept of sector coupling for accelerating the clean energy transition by discussing the current policy frameworks, the role of innovation and the importance of international cooperation activities.

The EU Energy Day includes two thematic sessions dedicated to:

• Policy frameworks for an integrated clean energy transition
• Leading developments in sector coupling and an integrated clean energy transition

The event will also be a meeting place for innovators, companies and research institutions from both Europe and the Gulf region to share their breakthrough technologies, renewable energy solutions for consumers and prosumers, and the latest developments regarding the cross-sectoral digitalisation of the energy system.
