Attracting talent for an upskilled profession

“SCIC Universities conference” becomes “Interpreting Europe Conference”. The theme of the conference is "Attracting talent for an upskilled profession” and is taking place on Thursday the 30th of November p.m. and Friday the 1st of December 2023.

This year’s conference will mainly focus on how to attract young people to the interpreting profession. There will be a reflection on interpretation as a profession with a future and on the European Institutions as a place to work. Inspiring discussions are planned with university representatives, students, colleagues from EU institutions and representatives of the private market speaking about measures to be taken and means to be used to reach younger generations.

All sessions will be web-streamed and presentations will be published after the event.
