5th EU-Norway Energy Conference

5th EU-Norway Energy Conference

EU Norway 2021 energy conference

Norway is a strategic energy partner for the EU, and a major supplier of energy. Through the Agreement on the European Economic Area (EEA), Norway participates as a full member of the internal energy market, and cooperates on fighting climate change. Norway shares the European Commission’s vision for a European Green Deal.

The 5th EU – Norway Energy Conference will take place 1 October 2021 in Brussels, with possibility for digital participation. It will be hosted by Kadri Simson, Commissioner for Energy and Tina Bru, Norwegian Minister of Petroleum and Energy. The conference programme will cover issues relating to the energy transition, the European Green Deal and the "Fit for 55"-package, with high-level speakers from both Norway and the EU.

The event will be web streamed.
