Joint Harmonised EU Programme of Business and Consumer Surveys in Romania and Ireland - May 2023 – April 2025

The European Commission is launching a call for proposals carrying out business and consumer surveys, as part of the Joint Harmonised EU Programme of business and consumer surveys (BCS) in Romania (consumer survey)  and Ireland (consumer, construction, industry, retail trade and services surveys).

The BCS programme is designed to gather information on the state of the economies in the EU and candidate countries, in order to be able to compare their business cycles for economic and monetary union (EMU) management purposes.

The co-operation between the Commission and future beneficiaries shall be established in the form of Framework partnership agreements that will be concluded for the period May 2023 - April 2025 (2 years).

How to submit a proposal?

Please read carefully the detailed instructions in section 5) ‘Admissibility requirements of applications’ and section 14) ‘Procedure for the submission of proposals’ in the below Specifications of the call for proposals with ref. 2023 ECFIN 001/A3.

Applications shall be sent electronically and exclusively to the functional mailbox ECFIN-GRANT-PROPOSALSec [dot] europa [dot] eu (ECFIN-GRANT-PROPOSALS[at]ec[dot]europa[dot]eu) no later than 28 February 2023, 14.00 (CET).

Exceptionally, paper applications sent by postal mail or courier service, can also be accepted on the conditions stipulated in the above-mentioned sections 5) and 14) of the Specifications of the call for proposals.
