Antoinette Legrand has been working as an interpreter since 2003, first as a freelance and then, since 2008, as a staff interpreter for the European Commission. She holds a Master in Interpreting studies and a Master in Translation studies from the University of Mons and has professional experience in teaching (Assistant-professor) and translation (Belgian Parliament, National Bank of Belgium, Belgian courts).In addition to working in the booth, she is also deputy Head of the French unit at the Directorate-General for Interpretation of the European Commission.
