Interpreting Europe Conference

DG Interpretation's annual flagship event brings together relevant stakeholders from the interpreting world.

Background

Since 1996, the SCIC-Universities conference has covered the latest developments and trends in interpretation as well as presenting the Young Interpreters' Award winners.

In 2023, the conference was renamed ‘Interpreting Europe Conference’ to better correspond to the widened scope of the event.

The conference welcomes hundreds of guests onsite and online from partner universities in EU countries, candidate countries and non-EU countries, and from various EU institutions and international organisations, as well as a range of practitioners and stakeholders.
