Will Noonan is a senior lecturer in English and translation studies at Université Bourgogne Europe in Dijon, France, where he chairs the Applied Foreign Languages department and coordinates the EMT-affiliated MA programme in Multimedia Translation and its new companion MA in Multimedia Translation and Accessibility. He is an active member of the AVT, Accessibility and Inclusion EMT working group and a board member of the AFFUMT (a French translator training programme association). Originally from Australia, Will began his research career in the study of humour but has increasingly become interested in translator training, multimodality and media accessibility.
