Translation nowadays and beyond: technological challenges and diversification of an ever-evolving profession (Spain)

This Translating Europe Workshop (TEW) is organized by the European Commission and the University of Granada (Máster Universitario en Traducción Profesional).

The workshop focuses on the current state and future prospects of the translation profession, including translation technologies and terminology, as well as different translation specialisations (legal and institutional translation and accessibility) and employability. Participants in each round table have an academic, institutional or industry background.

The workshop is an open event for students, academics, translators, linguistic service providers or translation associations.

This TEW will be an in-person event with webstreaming. Registration is mandatory for online attendance and will be open until 23 October.

The workshop will be streamed on Zoom.

Interpreting from and into English will be provided.

It will also be recorded and made available on the Translating for Europe Youtube channel after the event.
