Subtitling – A Key to European Cultural Exchange? (Denmark)

Thanks to subtitling, streaming platforms and TV broadcasters, Europeans have unprecedented opportunities to watch films and series from other EU countries and listen to their languages. In other words, subtitling is a key to this cultural exchange. But what skills are required to produce good subtitles? Speakers from the subtitling industry and leading researchers in audiovisual translation (AVT) will give an insight into this profession.
