Points of View on Translation Services: Potential and Challenges of Modern Technologies

The workshop will consist of three components, each focusing on the contemporary challenges of the translation professions but from different points of view - academic, pedagogical - didactic, professional - language industry and market-oriented:

This one-day event will consist of three parts:

• Presentations by renowned experts from the academia and language industry;
• Discussion panels and networking coffee tables;
• Hands-on workshops for participants (translation students and/or teachers), related to modern technologies coupled with human creativity.  

The workshop is organised in cooperation with EMT university - Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland.
