Automated Translation and Sustainability

For the first time, Ireland hosts a Translating Europe Workshop engaging academics and translation industry professionals on vital issues for the future of the profession – machine translation viewed from a new perspective, that of sustainability. The workshop will examine the variety of novel implementations of automation in translation and their effects on stakeholders in the translation process, particularly in relation to the economic and social  sustainability of the translation business and profession in addition to ecological sustainability.
