Web accessibility is about ensuring that everyone, including people with disabilities, such as visual, hearing, motor or cognitive impairments, is able to use and interact with websites and applications.
The Digital Accessibility Action Plan 2025–2030 sets out the European Commission’s approach to ensuring that its digital ecosystem is accessible to persons with disabilities.
As required for public sector websites in the Member States, all European Commission owned websites must include a functioning feedback mechanism.
The accessibility coordinators are the DG's first point of contact for all web accessibility matters.
