Description

Network of national contact points on the rule of law

To support and accompany the process for the preparation of the annual Rule of Law Report, in January 2020, when preparing the first Report, the Commission asked each Member State to appoint a contact point to coordinate the preparation at national level and created a network of these contact points to regularly update and exchange on the process. This network has for examples discussed the methodology of the Report and is consulted each year on the questionnaire to Member States and stakeholders. It also serves as a forum for exchanging good practices and experiences on different topics covered under the four pillars of the Report.

An overview of the membership in the network is provided in the document section below.
