Evaluation of the promotion activities carried out by the European Travel Commission

Description

The aim of this study was to provide an assessment of the work carried out by the European Travel Commission (ETC) to promote Europe in long-haul markets and intra-EU tourism, considering the actions undertaken under the last four EU grants to the ETC (2016-2021). The assignment covered the following evaluation criteria: relevance, performance and effectiveness, efficiency, coherence, and EU-added value. The evaluation questions have been addressed using data collected through desk research, case studies and interviews.
