Copyright: Kopur, d.o.o. The purpose of the project was to invest in advanced technological equipment to increase production efficiency. The company invested in a robotic thermoforming cell, an advanced steam dosing control and control system, a steam recovery system and an electric four-wheel forklift. The new investment represents an important step in the green transition of the company’s production to achieve greater energy and material efficiency. With the introduction of new technological equipment, the company will reduce its energy and material consumption, making a significant contribution to reducing CO2 emissions. The investment will enable the company to expand the capacity of the company’s existing establishment and increase its competitive position on both the Slovenian and foreign markets. The main objective of the investment is to move from manual thermoformation to robotisation, which will allow for a high degree of automation and precision, reduced raw material demand and lower manufacturing errors. This will improve the quality of finished products, reduce material consumption and reduce waste. The second part of the investment is aimed at improving the efficiency of water use in the waste recovery process. This includes an investment in a steam recovery system that will allow the reuse of steam that would otherwise be released into the atmosphere. In addition, the company will invest in an advanced steam dosing control and regulation system that will allow better control of steam production and use, which will also contribute to increased water efficiency. The Recovery and Resilience Facility provided funding of EUR 142,000, while the total value of the investment was EUR 435,000. The project started in June 2023 and was finalised in October 2024.Additional photos: Copyright: Kopur, d.o.o. Copyright: Kopur, d.o.o.
