Centre for Peaceful Dispute Resolution in Zagreb

The reform resulted in adopting the Mediation Act to further promote voluntary mediation and setting up four mediation centers.

The Centre for Peaceful Dispute Resolution, located at the High Commercial Court in Zagreb, encourages the development of a culture of peaceful dispute resolution, give consent to institutions for mediation, gives consent to education programs for certain types of peaceful dispute resolution, carries out mediation independently or in cooperation with institutions for mediation, professional training and improvement of mediators.
