Next EU-FOSSA Hackathon with the Apache community will happen 4-5 May

The next EU-FOSSA 2 Hackathon, on 4/5th May, has broadened its scope. It will still have a large focus on Apache Tomcat, but will now also include other communities under the Apache Software Foundation (ASF). Aditionally, the Hackathon will be offering training sessions on some of the latest ASF projects. This is a great opportunity to find out how ASF is contributing to newer technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT). These knowledge transfer sessions are open to all who register, regardless of whether you are a beginner or an experienced user.

Sessions are planned for all the projects below:

  1. Apache Tomcat

  2. Apache SpamAssassin

  3. Apache PLC4X

  4. Apache IoT

  5. Apache SINGA

  6. Apache Karaf

There will be morning and afternoon sessions on Saturday and Sunday. The trainings will take place at the same venue as the Hackathon, Silversquare Triomphe, in Brussels. Please register since there are limited seats available. Precise timings will be sent to those who register.
