Making the SET Plan fit for the EU green recovery

The Strategic Energy Technology (SET) Plan 2020 conference on 23-24 September is co-hosted by the Commission and the German Presidency of the Council of the EU. The two-day event will focus on the theme of ‘Making the SET Plan fit for the EU green recovery’ and will discuss the contribution of the SET Plan to the more ambitious energy and climate targets for 2030 and 2050.

The Commissioner for energy, Kadri Simson, will deliver the opening speech and join the high-level ministerial panel to exchange views on the EU’s path to clean energy transition and the importance of research and innovation to boost competitiveness and keep Europe at the forefront of clean energy technologies.
