The beneficiaries of four REA projects are finalists for the European Commission’s Innovation Radar Prize 2018.
The winner will be announced on 6 December at the ICT 2018 event in Vienna.
These beneficiaries secured their place in the finals thanks to being among the top 4 in terms of votes received (in their prize category) during the public vote.
During the two-week voting period over 50 000 votes were cast.
REA finalist beneficiaries are part of the following projects:
- PANDORA (MSCA-ITN)
- M-CUBE (FET-OPEN), finalist in two categories
- CHROMAVISION (FET-OPEN)
- aPad (FET-OPEN)
The next step for the finalists will be to pitch their EU-funded innovation – and their future plans for their innovation to have an impact in the market - at the "Innovation Radar Prize pitching sessions" at ICT 2018.
Each pitch will be judged by a jury with a track record in entrepreneurship, investment or experience in start-up accelerator communities. The most impressive pitch in each of the 5 categories will be awarded the Innovation Radar prize for that category.
Best of luck to all REA finalists!
