First EU Reference Centre for animal welfare: call for selection launched

The Commission has launched the call for the selection of the first European Union Reference Centre for animal welfare. The centre will provide coordinated assistance to Member States in carrying out the official controls in the field of animal welfare.

Deadline for submission of application: 20 November 2017.

Only the National Competent Authorities of the Member States may submit an application, after having ensured that the eligibility, exclusion and selection criteria are met. For the detailed requirements please see the terms of reference and the practical instructions.
