The European Commission is looking for IT specialists

The European Commission is looking for experienced specialists and assistants to work as temporary agents mainly in Luxembourg in the following fields:

1. Advanced Technology: High Performance Computing

2. Advanced Technology: Quantum technologies

3. Data Analysis and Data Science

4. Digital Workplace, Office Automation and Mobile Computing

5. ICT Security                                    

6. IT Infrastructure and Cloud

As a specialist (grade AD 8), you define and implement new ICT strategies or Commission priorities in the field, translate business needs into ICT solutions, and work with statistical data and big data sources. Your duties include keeping the ICT services running, managing stakeholder relations and participating in meetings as a technical specialist.

As an assistant (grade AST 4), you support the implementation of IT projects by contributing to solution design, drafting business specifications, and assisting in budgetary and resource planning. Your duties include analysing and processing statistical data and big data sources, participating in the conception and implementation of ICT solutions and contributing to briefings and presentations.  

The application period opens on 09 January 2020 and the deadline is 06 February 2020 at 12.00 (midday), Brussels time.
