European Commission co-organises “Focus on Europe” investor seminar on 14-15 June

The European Commission, together with the European Investment Bank and the European Stability Mechanism, is organising “Focus on Europe” virtual Capital Markets Seminar on 14 and 15 June 2021.

The event will discuss the role of the three institutions in Europe’s green, digital and resilient recovery, both in supporting investment and as debt issuers. The seminar will look at the dynamics in the EU economy, will give updates on funding and credit, the buy-side perspective on EU supranational issuers and the status and implications of the European Green Deal, including sustainable finance regulations. European Commissioner for Budget and Administration Johannes Hahn, together with the President of the European Investment Bank, Mr Werner Hoyer and the Managing Director of the European Stability Mechanism, Mr Klaus Regling, will open the event, in a discussion moderated by Maria Tadeo, European Correspondent from Bloomberg TV. The other speakers will include both C-Level and operational leaders from the three institutions and wider capital markets actors.
