A call for project proposals to fund consortia to train a new generation of creative, entrepreneurial and innovative early-stage researchers is open until 14 January 2020 under the Horizon 2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie programme, Innovative Training Networks (ITN).

This is an opportunity for ITNs to raise excellence and structure research and doctoral training in Europe (EU Member States and Horizon 2020 Associated Countries). It will provide enhanced career perspectives in both the academic and non-academic sectors through international, interdisciplinary and intersectoral mobility combined with an innovation-oriented mind-set.

The call makes available around €530 million for projects in all domains of research and in three mododalities: European Training Networks (ETN), European Joint Doctorates (EJD), European Industrial Doctorates (EID).

The requirements for submitting a research proposal are detailed in the call page.

Evaluation results will be known by June 2020 at the latest. Successful proposals will be then invited to prepare a grant agreement, which should be signed by September 2020.
