Time to register for Translating Europe Forum 2020!

#2020TEF virtual conference: 4 November 2020, 13:00 (Brussels time) – 6 November 2020

In line with the ongoing global efforts to prevent the spread of Coronavirus the 7th edition of the #2020TEF will be held online.

This year’s topic: Platforms: digital ecosystems for translation

Online platforms have become part of many people´s every-day lives. Examples include social media platforms, digital market places and online services. They facilitate contacts between groups that don´t necessarily know each other.

#2020TEF will look at digital platforms from two angles:

1. The effect of digital platforms on the translation profession (new business models and workflows for translators and language service providers)
2. digital platforms and their translation needs, or how translation supports digital platforms

Registration will be open at least until 31 October 2020.

A conference app and event platform will provide an enhanced conference experience (including interactive features and virtual networking).
