A total of 308 proposals were submitted in this year's Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research and Innovation Staff Exchange call (H2020 MSCA-RISE-2019). Like in previous years, engineering, environment, life sciences and social sciences are the themes that attracted most applications. The 308 proposals are competing for €80 million in EU funding. The evaluation of the research proposals will take place between April and June and the projects will start this Autumn. It is estimated that around 25% of the project proposals will be retained. The Marie Skłodowska-Curie RISE Action funds short-term exchanges of personnel between academic, industrial and commercial organisations throughout the world. The projects are implemented through the secondments of staff for a period of one to 12 months. To know more about RISE funded-projects have a look at this video.
