DepartmentEuropean Central Bank Responsibilities European Central Bank Biography Monica Pellegrino works at the ECB since 2018, where she is responsible for the Digital Security Awareness Programme for all staff. She holds a MD and a PhD in Electonic Engineering. Before joining the ECB she worked in the Italian Banking Sector, following both digitalisation and cybersecurity projects. Monica also represents the ECB in different IT security awareness working groups at EU level, participated by EU institutions, National Central Banks and National Central Authorities. She is CISSP, CRISC and CISM certified.
