Marta Postuła

First Vice President of the Management Board, Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego  - BGK 

Prof. Marta Postuła, PhD, DSc, has been a sustainability advisor to the Management Board at the Brokerage House of Bank Ochrony Środowiska (BOŚ) since 2022. Previously, she served as Director of the Issuer Cooperation Department at the same institution for six years. She has over a decade of experience in the public sector. From 1999 to 2016, she worked at the Ministry of Finance, where she led departments responsible for, among other things: developing strategic documents, coordinating the creation of the Public Finance Act, implementing socio economic policies, and evaluating the efficiency of public spending in the public sector. She has served on the supervisory boards of BGK, PL2012, Intercity, and SKM. Since 2020, she has been the Head of the Department of Finance and Accounting at the Faculty of Management, University of Warsaw. From 2016 to 2023, she was the Director of the University of Warsaw’s Entrepreneurship Center. At BGK, she oversees the area of markets and government and European programs.  

Since 2020, she has held the title of Full Professor of Social Sciences, awarded by the President of the Republic of Poland. She is also a habilitated doctor (DSc) in economics, specializing in finance, and holds a PhD in economics from the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH). 

She is the author of numerous books and articles in the field of finance, particularly public and investment finance.
