Marina Pantcheva is Director of Linguistic AI Services at RWS, where she develops and integrates AI-powered language solutions into technology and services. Her work focuses on identifying where AI can deliver genuine value while also understanding its limitations and impact.
Marina holds a PhD in Theoretical Linguistics, and has a background in linguistic research, teaching, and science communication. She is also a co-founder of the AI Localization Think Tank, contributing to an industry-wide dialogue on the responsible and effective use of AI.
Marina's work combines rigorous linguistic thinking with practical AI innovation, with particular attention to how AI technologies perform across cultures and contexts. Having spent all her life in a multicultural and multilingual environment, Marina has a particular interest in how AI can be trained and applied across languages and cultures.
