Marc De Vos

Studies at Ghent University, the Université Libre de Bruxelles and the Harvard University have given Marc de Vos a broad base in law and the social sciences. He has decades of experience at the intersection of expertise, policy, society, and industry. His career is a mix of research, positions, assignments, and executive roles, in the US, Europe, Australia, and Asia, in academia, professional services, and the thinktank world. 

As co-CEO of think tank Itinera, he facilitates an open platform where experts and stakeholders collaborate on policy solutions for better governance and a sustainably prosperous future. As a strategy consultant he connects market and non-market trends transnationally for companies, organisations and institutions, in a change or growth trajectory. At Ghent University he teaches and explores about social law, the European Union, globalization and fundamental rights in companies. The position of Europe in the new geopolitical world order, and the future of Belgium in it, are his focus. He firmly believes in the ability to create a free and strong Europe full of opportunities for the younger generations, with Belgium and its regions at the top. Contributing to this as an expert and advisor, working together and mobilizing for this, in collaboration with everyone: that is his passion.
