Linh Do is a seasoned communications expert working as a press and communication officer at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion (DG EMPL). She plays a crucial role in developing and implementing DG EMPL’s communication strategy, advising policy units on strategic political communication, and drafting press and communication materials, including press releases and op-eds for her Director-General and other senior Commission staff. As DG EMPL’s clear writing contact, Linh ensures that its communications are clear and comprehensible. Linh has extensive experience across both the EU’s public and private sectors. She previously led strategic communication projects at BCW Brussels as an account director for strategic communications on EU affairs, and managed EU-wide campaigns on topics such as social rights, sustainability and humanitarian aid at ICF Next (formerly ICF Mostra). Linh holds a Master’s degree in communication and European politics from IHECS (Brussels), and a Bachelor’s degree in international relations and managerial economics from the University of California-Davis (USA).
