Biography

Kädi Ristkok is the Chief Executive Officer of the Estonian Cleantech Association, where she spearheads initiatives to advance climate technologies and sustainable innovation across Estonia and the broader Baltic region. With extensive experience in environmental policy and governance, Kädi plays a pivotal role in shaping strategies that align Estonia's environmental, climate, security and economic objectives.

Prior to leading the Estonian Cleantech Association, Kädi served as the Director of the Climate Policy Department at the Ministry of Environment of Estonia. In this capacity, she was responsible for formulating and implementing national climate policies, overseeing regulatory frameworks, and representing Estonia in international climate negotiations. 

Kädi's career encompasses roles in both the public and private sectors, focusing on policymaking, green transition strategy advisory, clean technologies and innovation entrepreneurship. Her unique mix of experiences allows her to bridge the gap between governmental objectives and industry needs.

As a recognised expert in sustainable economy, Kädi frequently participates in European forums dedicated to the economy, innovation and clean technologies.
