Jourik Ciesielski holds a Master’s degree in Translation and a Postgraduate Certificate in Specialised Translation from KU Leuven (Belgium). He began his career in 2013 as an intern at Yamagata Europe in Ghent, where his strong interest in language technology led him to become Chief Technology Officer. In 2020, he founded his own company, C-Jay International, focusing on technology consulting, engineering, and market research. His work centres around implementing translation technology, deploying AI solutions, and optimising workflows, with a specialisation in automation, integration, translation management systems, and data standardisation. In 2025, he embarked on a new Chief Technology Officer role at ELAN Languages.
